Familiarity with planting and production of Iranian Pistachio pistachio seedlings

Plants are the source of the food chain of life on the planet and are considered as the national wealth of every country. Pistachio is one of the most important export items of Iran, which accounts for more than 23% of the total value of Iran's exports.

Pistachio is one of the most important plants in the genus Anacardiaceae. Pistachio genus with about 60 genera and 600 species is an important genus among plants. Pistachios are available by car in northeastern Iran, Central Asia and Afghanistan.

Pistachio is a plant with two stems, so male and female trees are separate from each other, and thus by sowing seeds and not grafting it, half of the seedlings will become male and the other half will be female. Sometimes undesirable traits may appear in the plural.

Therefore, in seed propagation, sometimes the quality is lost and the time required for the plant to mature in the trees that are propagated by seed is longer. Therefore, in order to have uniform and uniform trees from a high-yielding and high-quality cultivar, and also to shorten the seedling period, asexual propagation should be used. So transplanting seedlings seems necessary.
